About me? That's a tough one. Sometimes I'm not sure who I am. But, I'll give it a try.
I am a wife, a mother, a grandmother, a daughter, a sister, a niece, an aunt, a friend. Twenty-six years of my working life were spent at one place, American Express. The rest . . . don't really count.
Sitting still is hard for me, which makes watching TV with me an experience, because I always have to have a light on. (Just ask my husband.) If I'm not writing, or reading, I am doing counted cross-stitch, knitting, or crochet. Or painting ceramics. Or some other craft of the month.
I love roses. The color blue. I love being silly, and I love being serious. But most of all, I like being me. I'm still learning, still growing, even though I've reached a point in my life that might be called middle-age.
Learning and growing, no matter what.
After all, isn't that what it's all about?
